How to submit a sitemap to google webmaster
- After the completion of XML sitemap generation you can submit the sitemap.xml page to google webmaster by following below steps
- If you want google to fetch sitemap quickly initially you have to create gmail account to signup google webmaster account. Then create webmaster account for your website by submitting domain name after verification add xml sitemap of the website to search engine console.
- To add sitemap just click the crawl button and then go to sitemaps click Add/Test Sitemap button to submit sitemap.xml link of the website.
Finally your xml sitemap is displayed with detail information such as date of submission, no of submitted links, indexed links etc.
